Sasken Network Engineering Limited (SNEL), a 100 % subsidiary of Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd. specialises in a basket of services spread across Managed services, Systems Integration, Technical Support, Technical documentation, Training and IT services. The articulated vision for SNEL is to be the preferred partner for telecom services globally.

SNEL came into being in 2004, when Sasken decided to foray in to network engineering space.

SNEL has built scale, credibility and global execution capability across India and the US over the last 5 years. In the last two years, we have made forays in to new markets like the Middle East.

Sasken Japan KK

Founded during November 2007, Sasken Japan KK commenced business in April 2008. SJKK was primarily setup as a Sales Office to cater to our Japanese Customers.

SJKK's focus areas and crucial customers are Mobile and Handset Manufacturers, Consumer Electronics Companies, Security & Surveillance, Automobile, Mobile Operators and to certain extent, Medical Equipment manufacturers as well. Our key focus is on selling IP and Professional Services to these customers.

 

Sasken Communication Technologies (Shanghai) Co

Sasken initiated a Representative Office in Shanghai, China in 2004 to explore business opportunities in the region. A Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise was set up in 2005 and was christened  Sasken Communication Technologies (Shanghai) Co. Ltd on January 6, 2006 in Zhangjiang (ZJ) Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Towards the end of 2008, a branch of the entity was setup in the Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) in Beijing to serve the handset makers and Original Design Manufacturers located in the area.
Focus area of the Sasken’s China entity is the hardware and software design, development and testing of wireless devices.

China entity was set up as part of our near-shore strategy. By locating Sasken centers geographically very close to the customer’s R&D centers, we are able to provide our services in the same time zone and in a more effective manner.

The other objective is also to create a low-cost hardware Center of Excellence that could effectively complement Sasken Finland’s capabilities.

The customers we work with in China are primarily the Chinese subsidiaries of some of our global key customers – Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Infineon. Additionally we work with some very large Chinese companies like LiteOnMobile (LOM), Foxconn and BYD.
