From gold to platinum: Sasken’s Annual Report shines again
Sasken’s 2006-07 Annual Report has won the Platinum Award
at LACP Vision Awards
Bangalore, 8th Sep, 2008 – Sasken Communication Technologies Limited (BSE: 532663 & NSE: SASKEN), a leading Indian communications solutions company, announced today that their Annual Report for financial year 2006-07 has won the Platinum Award in telecom category of the 2007 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition, held by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). LACP was established in 2001 in order to create a forum within the public relations industry that facilitates discussion of best-in-class practices within the profession, while also recognizing those who demonstrate exemplary communications capabilities. This is icing on the cake for Sasken which had won the Gold for the previous year’s report (‘05-06).
Sasken’s Annual Report has also been recognized again as one of the Top 100 Annual Reports of 2007 across categories internationally. This is the second consecutive year, wherein the Sasken Annual Report has been the only Indian Annual Report featuring in the Top 100.
Sasken uses clay as the core medium of expression for its branding elements, and the 2006-07 Annual Report was the third year wherein it was used to tell the Sasken story. The theme which was conceptualized along with Ogilvy India was “At home around the world”, which was a reflection of the global nature of Sasken’s business, competence and markets.
