Our primary offering is Wireless Infrastructure R&D services, which are targeted at products in following stages of the life cycle:

• Product sustenance services for products nearing end-of-life

Sasken offers product development and maintenance services such as pre-integration testing, test tool maintenance, software bug fixes and feature enhancements as part of the product evolution. The offshore team will also evaluate different alternative platforms, develop platform abstraction layers, introduce open interfaces, and port existing software to support product migration.

Sasken has provided sustenance for several thousands of BTS and BSC products for GSM/GPRS technology, while helping these products evolve by optimizing the software, adding GPRS/EDGE support, doing software architecture changes, and carrying out migration to new platforms.

Sasken is currently successfully managing such product sustenance centres in the ODC model for many of its customers.
