Poonacha Machaiah
Senior Vice President (Worldwide Sales)

Poonacha Machaiah has a rich experience of Global Sales, Business Development, Operations Management, Strategic Planning and Technology Design. Before Sasken, Poonacha was the Senior Director of Seamless Mobility, Global Services Strategy and Partnerships/Joint Ventures at Motorola Inc.

Earlier he was VP/General Manager at Visionael Corporation; VP of Business Enabling Solutions Practices at Nortel and Executive Director of IDC/ASP Practice at Dimension Enterprises. Early in his career, Poonacha also worked for Iridium LLC & Sprint. He started his career at Nomadic Technologies, developing technology for robot motion control.

Poonacha holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the B.M.S. College of Engineering in India.

Poonacha is also an active member of the community; he was a volunteer firefighter with the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department and has served on the board of Joy of Sports (www.joyofsports.org) & Stop Child Abuse in Northern Virginia (www.scanva.org).
