In his most recent role as Senior Director for offshore R&D strategy and operations at Motorola Inc., Ranga led the creation of successful global engineering models leading to high levels of engineering performance and high quality partnerships. Ranga has also led the creation of Motorola's services JV and served on the board of a Motorola JV in India.

Earlier as Director of Advanced Technology business in Networks sector of Motorola, Ranga was responsible for aligning advanced technology development with business strategies resulting in significant breakthroughs. He played a key role in the establishment of Motorola's India software center.

Ranga holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago and a Bachelor of Engineering - Electronics & Communication from Karnataka University.
