“My team and I work with the leader in GSM-Railways technology to provide secure and     fault-tolerant communications to all major railway operators in the world including Indian Railways. In short, my team helps avert major train disasters.

I was recruited through a campus interview 7 years ago. Since then, the exposure that Sasken has given me has been amazing. I get to work with multiple technologies and I have the opportunity to create world-class products and solutions. It continues to give me a high - to be in a place where ideas are respected and nurtured.

Our CTO, Dr. G Venkatesh (GV, as we all fondly call him) is my super hero. He is a perfect mix of Academia and Business.

“My team and I work on bleeding-edge technology which provides users with a rich multimedia experience - 1080p playback, augmented reality, 3D graphics, Stereoscopic video capture et. al. What Sasken has taught me is that it is fun change domain. I worked on wireless protocol stacks for the first six years and now I’m a multimedia guy.  It's challenging and gives you the better picture of the system as a whole.

Linus Torvalds happens to be my super hero because I think LINUX is the most beautiful operating system that exists today. I’ve recently completed eight years with Sasken and I am looking forward to many more”

Rohit Kashyap, Engineer.

My role at Sasken involves providing solutions to issues in the telecom domain, on an everyday basis. I’ve been here a year and a half; it is the perfect place for a newcomer in the industry. It teaches you how to balance work and life and ensures that you are technically sound with comprehensive training sessions provided.

Sasken has taught me how important it is to be open to change. Every day here presents new challenge. I look up to Rajov Mody, my CEO for the great leader he has grown to be. His level headedness and clear visions has always helped the company to survive the toughest of storms. He believes in transparency and I, as an employee am always well informed. My team and I work on developing Sasken capabilities and introducing offerings in new technology areas.  We work on solutions to help our existing and potential customers quickly come out with new products. Internally, I manage technical trainings and capability development initiatives.

One great thing about being with Sasken is that I am heard – by my seniors and my peers. My views and ideas are taken seriously. This translates into an open culture. What’s more! We are an Indian company that create cutting edge technology!
