When one is watching a video on a surveillance monitor, it is a result of a process which includes, encoding, decoding and various other steps. One of the top players in the market, looking to develop a high-end network video recorder with special multimedia capabilities touched base with Sasken talent many quarters ago. We licensed our IP to them, besides providing custom enhancements and support throughout the development process until product launch.
What is great about this story is that our team successfully brought the network video recorder to market faster than anticipated. Also, our offshore team provided flexibility to the customer in terms of scaling the team in order to resolving issues.

Sasken engineers diligently delivered the cell broadcast solution for the customer with admirable precision, having taken full responsibility of it – from design, interoperability testing to deployment. How does the cell broadcast solution work? In case of an emergency situation, all it requires is for the operators to send out the crucial message to the entire population via a code. In a fraction of a second, millions of people will receive it and will be able to act accordingly.
