BSNL certifies Sasken’s ADSL2+ Modems

Bangalore, February 15, 2006 – Sasken, a pioneer in telecom R & D outsourcing today announced that it has obtained interface approval for its ADSL2+ modems from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). This certification is helpful to a prospective modem buyer as it assures the buyer that the modem will interoperate and deliver the required performance on the BSNL network.

Comprehensive and thorough testing by BSNL ensures that Sasken’s ADSL2+ modems are of very high quality, extremely reliable and in conformance with the relevant ITU-T standards and TEC-GRs. Sasken’s modem already has certifications like CE, WHQL and UR-2.

Sasken’s strategy is to work with leading PC Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and DSL service providers to bundle its ADSL2+ modems and a DSL service with PC.
