Sasken has worked on standard frameworks, such as Symbian-MMF, as well as customer-specific frameworks.

The range of activities include porting of specific frameworks on target OS such as Symbian 8.1b and adapting them to handle functionalities, like MPEG4 Enc/Dec, AMR Enc/Dec, MPEG 2 AAC decoding and H.264 Decoding. The activities may also include development of MDF Plug-ins for the codecs for portability of any new applications.

Besides codec adaptations, demo applications can be ported on the frameworks like Media Player, TV Phone or Digital TV and build a complete demo-ready System to the end-customer.
