Venugopal Ramakrishnan (Venu) is the Chief Technology Officer at Sasken. He oversees Sasken's technology and capability roadmap, eco-system partnerships, and solution architecture function.
Venu is a technology leader with over 31 years in the industry, and he has led several challenging assignments for more than a decade, based in London, Singapore, and Bengaluru, with clients across North America, Europe, and Asia. His strengths lie in driving transformation, building offerings and capabilities, architecting solutions for delivering projects, driving strategic partnerships and acquisitions across digital technologies (cloud, artificial intelligence, security, and Industry X.0), and having a passion for digital quality engineering and product validation with patents in the space.
He has an MBA from the University of Surrey (International Leader Scholarship) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, India.
Outside of work, Venu loves travelling, both for work and with his family, to understand people, their cultures, and their perspectives. Cycling and badminton help him stay fit. He loves music and plays the flute in the Carnatic classical form. His family includes his wife Chithra, a cost accountant, and son Aditya, who has just started a career in mechanical design.
