Sasken’s Business Continuity Preparedness during COVID-19 Outbreak

Sasken’s Business Continuity Preparedness during COVID-19 Outbreak

Update: March 24, 2020

Dear Customers,

We are happy to share a positive update with all of you.

As we took this threat seriously and planned preventive measures on a war footing, none of our facilities have reported any positive cases.

Following government directives on managing COVID-19 pandemic placed a severe limitation on the number of engineers permitted to work from customer locations as some projects had an on-site component. We were concerned while grappling with the means to honor our commitment to customers. We made it our priority to manage employee well-being while delivering on promised milestones.

We did our best to ensure business continuity for customer projects and are proud to say that all programs have been delivered on their set milestones.

This was made possible because of our superior Business Continuity practices. Our IT and Facility Management teams enabled us to keep the delivery projects going uninterrupted. Sasken's Legal team worked round the clock and across time zones to ensure that all compliances are in place.

We want to assure all our customers that we are working continuously to ensure business continuity while making sure that our employees are safe and better enabled to work from home.

Regards,

Update: March 20, 2020

Dear Customers,

In light of the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Sasken is taking proactive measures to ensure the wellbeing of our employees, customers, and partners. For the past few weeks, we have been working extensively to ramp up and accelerate our business continuity plans and enabling our employees to provide continued services to our customers.

Towards this, we have directed a significant portion of our employees to work from home till March 31, 2020, except for those in mission critical roles.

We are working to ensure that our employees get all the necessary support for providing timely delivery of our services to our customers, while adhering to the applicable security and data protection policies.

Our Emergency Response Team (ERT) is in touch with local authorities and employees to make informed decisions during this time and have been scheduling regular meetings to assess the impact on our employees and customers. We have also been communicating appropriate measures, guidelines, and advisories on a daily basis.

We have published detailed guidelines to our employees, with regard to health, work, and travel. While we have limited business travel, we are encouraging employees, who have recently returned from any domestic or international travel, to self-quarantine for two weeks.

As of today, we would like to confirm that we have no known cases of Coronavirus at any of our facilities. Our leadership team and customer relationship managers will continue to update you as the situation evolves.

We are committed to serving you now and in future. Please stay safe and healthy.

Regards,

Rajiv C Mody
