Sasken’s full phone design & development of the IsatPhone 2 covered the software, hardware, mechanical design, system integration and complete testing for the device including manufacturing support. This engagement follows a successful partnership with us for full phone development of the first version of the IsatPhone, the IsatPhone (Pro).
Sasken delivered the IsatPhone 2 over a period of 18 months, from multiple geographies around the globe. Sasken’s team in Finland took ownership of the hardware aspects, while software was developed in India and satellite specific testing was carried out in Indonesia, Finland, Spain, Germany, UK and the US.
