Nirmala Datla is an accomplished business and technology leader with over three decades of global experience across product engineering, digital and AI-led engineering, and large-scale global delivery. She has led and scaled high-performance, multi-geography engineering organizations delivering complex, mission-critical programs for global enterprises.

Her expertise spans across software and digital engineering, embedded systems, platform engineering and AI/GenAI transformation. Nirmala has successfully built and scaled delivery centres and CoEs, managed global businesses exceeding USD 500 million. She has extensive experience in working closely with Hyper-scalers, ISVs, and enterprises across Hi-Tech, Consumer electronics, FinTech, Telecom, RCPG and Life Sciences sectors.

In her career journey, she has held senior leadership roles at HCLTech, Motorola, and Microsoft, where she built engineering organizations from the ground up and led large, distributed teams. Nirmala is also an advisor and mentor to emerging startups.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications from JNTU, a PGDM from AIMA, and an Executive Program in Business Management from IIM Calcutta.
