Enabled remote access for Hardware located in Japan for verification purposes

Customer: Leading Japanese Automotive Tier-1

I manage a project for Japan’s leading Automotive Tier-1. We initially faced a challenge in obtaining approval for WFH from the customer. We collaborated with all our internal stakeholders and key customer contacts to convince the customer about Sasken’s Business Continuity Plan and our capability to deliver on all our committed milestones, in spite of the prevailing situation.

We ensured that none of the team members faced any difficulty during WFH and got the laptops delivered to them at their homes.

Accessing software through remote access was solved but accessing hardware, which is required for verification, was still a huge problem. We worked with our internal teams as well customer teams to enable remote access to the hardware in Japan.

We organized one-on-one meetings to ensure that the team was comfortable and productive despite being dispersed.
