Scope:

Customer was looking for a partner to support them in Cockpit Solution development including Graphics, Root File System, Kernel Base-port layers and Test Automation Platform

Solution:

  • Platforms: R-Car M3, R-Car H3 Salvator, R-Car M3N, R-Car E3 for both Guest and Native AGL using QNX Hypervisor
  • Fast boot optimization on AGL for multiple variants of R-Car based platforms, with stringent targets
  • Implementation of FAKE USB support and Bidirectional audio/video/touch support
  • Maintenance/Bug Fix/Feature addition including VR implementation, performance improvements
  • Waltham transmitter/receiver development and maintenance
  • BSP kernel device driver development including custom board bring-up (software-based radio implementation support based on SPI/HSI2S lines), HDMI to GVIF driver implementation, Graphics driver performance improvement, Apple authentication driver, kernel base-port maintenance and bug fixing
  • Maintenance/Bug Fixing of OSS components/version upgrades/Root file system management
  • Some-IP integration/maintenance and bug fixing due to limited open source support
  • Enabled support for Jenkins Pipeline to trigger test execution. Configured Jenkins Plugin for Test Result Analysis across different releases for R-Car platform

Impact:

  • Achieved fast boot optimization of 2 seconds for rear camera
  • Demonstrated Waltham transmitter and receiver on AGL at various industry events
