Sasken’s extensive knowledge of an Asian CE Conglomerate’s product portfolio and suite of applications has enabled the customer to add some innovative features to their products. Sasken’s ‘innovation sandbox’ workshop brought together a skilled team who carried out a competitor analysis and identified prospective apps/app enhancement that would provide the customer with a competitive edge. Sasken conceived and created a suite of innovative features including enhancements for existing apps. Our understanding of the Android framework helped us rapidly build, test, and develop launch-ready features. At the innovation workshop, Sasken created a bank of ideas, debated them, and shortlisted candidates for implementation. The list of features includes fingerprint-based application access, location-based profiling for application availability, smart reply to enable location sharing, and a customized application launcher to enable dynamic presentation of relevant applications.
