Sasken, as an organization, has always taken great pride in the diverse nature of its sustainability initiatives across all geographies. These ecologically sustainable ventures recently came to Beautiful Bengaluru's attention, and Sasken was awarded a Green Award for March 2021. Beautiful Bengaluru (BB) is a local chapter working towards ensuring the preservation of Bengaluru as a city by focusing on keeping it clean, green, and safe. They have partnered with communities, corporate entities, educational institutes, and government bodies to work towards the city’s betterment. BB was impressed by the diverse array of Sasken initiatives that were carried out as an organization. This includes organic waste composting, plastic elimination on campus, the in-house biogas plant, and the various water-saving and carbon-neutral initiatives at our corporate campus. This genuine recognition from a reputed organization is a testament and further encouragement for Sasken’s continuous efforts to be an ecologically responsible corporate citizen.
