Vision-based industrial automation and quality checks are enabling a wide range of machine vision products and systems that enhance the efficiency of supply chain in smart manufacturing. Sasken is developing an 'imaging engine' and will work on stabilizing the I/O, CPU, and camera boards of the engine while adding more features such as camera enhancements, power modes, OLED display, temperature and accelerometer sensors, Wi-Fi, and BT communication subsystems. This imaging engine will make its way into fixed-mount, handheld, and mobile-based systems.
